On 8 June 2022, I presented a (condensed version 0f) parts of my doctoral research at the Workshop on Historical Encounters in International Relations, held at the University of Groningen. The workshop, which I had to attend remotely, gathered thought-provoking perspectives and research on encounters in IR.
